I don’t know why I even bother.
I wake up, I do what needs to be done, and what do I get for it? Nothing. No thanks, no respect, just constant complaints and accusations. I work my ass off for this family, and somehow, I’m the villain?
I drive the kids to school. Do I get a thank you? No. Instead, I get dirty looks and muttered insults. I don’t even know why they’re mad. They’re the problem, not me. They’re entitled, lazy, and ungrateful. They have no idea what I’ve been through—what I have to deal with every day.
And their mother? Don’t get me started.
She lays around sick all the time, whining about how hard her life is. Well, you know what? I’m sick too. I’m exhausted. I have my own struggles. But does anyone care? No. They just expect me to keep going like a machine, to cater to their every need while they do nothing for me in return.
She acts like I’m cruel. But the truth? I’m the only one holding this family together.
If I raise my voice, it’s because they don’t listen. If I get angry, it’s because I’ve been pushed.
And then I do something nice—I go out of my way to help—and somehow, I’m still the bad guy? How does that make sense?
I don’t even know why I’m still here.
But let’s be honest. They wouldn’t survive without me.
